2008 Member Tours

We've arranged for the most entertaining and accomplished experts to meet us in each destination, where you'll absorb captivating history and enjoy grand entertainment. Visits to private homes and other special sites not normally open to the public—along with congenial travel companions who share your interests—are what really make our trips memorable.

Pricing: 

The price per Historic Landmarks Foundation member appears at the end of each trip description. A non-member may travel with us for an additional $20 per person, which enrolls the traveler as a member for one year. Members of Historic Landmarks Founder’s Club ($250 and above in annual giving) receive a 10% discount. If you make a reservation, you will receive a detailed itinerary in the mail at least two weeks before the departure date.

 

Refunds:

Day-trips are non-refundable unless Historic Landmarks is able to fill your spot from a waiting list. For overnight trips, we will issue a refund, less $100 fee, if we can fill your spot from a waiting list.

Cincinnati Sign Museum
Springtime in the Queen City

Highlights include

  • Visits to the renovated 1920 Taft Museum and the Cincinnati Art Museum
  • Special preview of the American Sign Museum, which will not open to the public until autumn ’08.
  • Overnight at the renovated Netherland Plaza in Carew Tower, a 1932 Art Deco masterpiece
  • Cocktails in the revered Palm Court

June 26

  • Trip to the restored home of Lyman and Corby Snyder near Columbus, a house so large and so filled with first-class antiques that one visit may not allow you to see everything!

  • Visit to Gladden House in Salem, the restored Queen Anne home of Chris and Jennifer Bundy
