Modern Experience

People intrigued by mid-century design will want to sign up for the Mid-Century Modern Experience on September 18, our day-long immersion in the topic using Carmel as a 3-D example. The day -- from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. -- includes lectures by experts and tours of three homes in Thornhurst, a neighborhood recently listed in the National Register. Lectures and lunch take place at the Evans Woollen-designed King of Glory Lutheran Church at 106th and Keystone in Carmel.

For our immersion opportunities, you make your own travel and overnight arrangements. When you register, we’ll send you directions to King of Glory Lutheran Church and Thornhurst (approximately 3 miles apart).
